Ulster Project Delaware is a vital program in the community of Delaware and Northern Ireland and is making a real difference in the lives of hundreds of people. For more than 40 years, UPD has offered a haven for teens from Northern Ireland during the month of July. It has been a month of friendship, peace and tolerance, leadership development, and discovery of self and community responsibility for the young people involved. The issues of race, religious intolerance, and violence are the headlines both locally and nationally and these teens work through their differences and spend the month meeting new friends and building bridges.
